Yes, you can bring your own IP subnets and use them with the following BlackHOST services:

We can announce your IPv4 or IPv6 subnet over our AS12989 network or on your ASN.
The minimal prefix size is /24 for IPv4 and /48 for IPv6 subnets.

What are the requirements?

For us to announce your IP subnets on our network, you will need to fill in the following requirements:

  • Verify that your IRR (Internet Routing Registry) records for the corresponding subnets are up to date and have the correct information in your regional internet registry, such as RIPE, ARIN, APNIC, etc…
  • Provide us with a signed Letter of Authorization (LOA) that will be provided to our upstream and transit providers. The letter needs to contain the prefix you want us to announce and under which ASN you wish it to be announced. We can announce your IP prefixes under our ASN or your ASN.

An LOA represents a formal document. Hence, it should be on a company letterhead and contain a wet signature. The provided copy must be in color with at least 300 dpi, and in PDF format.

You can use the following LOA template:

What are the costs for BYOIP?

There are no recurring or monthly fees for BYOIP.
However, there is a one-time non-refundable fee for the document validation/processing and an IP subnet announcement. The correct fee is subject to change as it is determined by each specific case considering several factors. For more information, please reach out to our sales department.

How to get started?

To get started, you must have a registered account with us, open a ticket via the client area, and provide the requested documentation. Once the ticket is opened, our support team will guide you through the process and make sure that the whole procedure is completed in a timely manner. Usually, the IP announcements are completed within 24 hours, assuming all the requirements are met, but depending on the routing setup, it can take up to a week.
